contractor’s medical expense deduction is limited to 7.5% of the self-employed independent contractor’s adjusted gross income. If you haven’t reached that cap yet, go have those dental procedures or that bit of elective surgery (we’re not just talking about that nose, the swimsuit season will be here again before you know it). As long as you’re under that 7.5% limit, you can get income tax relief from your standard variety medical expense deductions. A little known year-end income tax relief tip – you don’t even have to pay for the medical procedures before January 1, 2010. Just put the medical charges on

According to court records, between 2005 and 2008, Ning Zhu, 32, of Newark, Del., defrauded Dell of approximately $102,000 by fraudulently obtaining software in connection with the purchase of personal computers.
During the course of hundreds of transactions with Dell, Zhu, using multiple false names and addresses, claimed not to have received software that he had in fact received. Through this deception, Zhu obtained duplicate copies of the software, which he then sold unlawfully.
On his tax returns, Zhu falsely stated that his income for 2005 was $4,603, and that the amount of tax due was $0. In fact, his taxable income for 2005 was

Tower then deposited the bulk of those funds into an offshore bank account, which Lewis controlled.
Lewis faces up to five years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000. Lewis’ son, Roy Lewis, a dentist

may make new ’simpler privacy settings’, however in the end we still need to watch our backs. Sure, they should act in line with the contract, but it would be naive to assume that everyone always follows the rules. Laws get broken–that’s why we have a justice system.
We can blame social media networks all day for dishonesty, privacy violation, etc., but the only way to insure our privacy is to take matters into our own hands. Facebook’s legal issues might not be enough for you to delete your account, but at the very least we should all reconsider our account settings.
